Personally handled the Intelsat Consultation between the Caribbean Broadcasting Union and Intelsat regarding the use of 39 U.S. licensed domestic satellites for Caribbean Network.

 

Consultant to UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on telecom matters, and Consultant to UNESCO Jamaica on various issues, with particular emphasis on telecom matters.

 

Advisor to Union of Radio and Television Stations in Africa (URTNA) on satellite negotiations (slotting of systems) for World Administrative Radio Conference negotiations; also advised the Government of Costa Rico on WARC matters.

 

CURRENT AND RECENT PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

 

1989 - Present – Law Offices of Curtis T. White, a practice specializing in domestic and international communications matters including private licensing, joint ventures, legislative/regulatory consultancies, and financings.

 

1989 - 1993 – Chairman & CEO, RASTREO-SAT, a U.S. company based in San Juan, PR. The company, with the support of various U.S. based venture capital firms, was involved in mobile satellites activities throughout the Caribbean Region.
